General Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions of Entry into the 2026 Mount Isa Mines Rodeo



All ticket purchases are nonrefundable, so please choose carefully.

Event organisers may vary advertised program if necessary for the successful running of the event.

No alcohol, illicit drugs, glass or eskys are to be brought into the event.



Audio or visual recordings of the event are prohibited. Still cameras (not professional) are permitted but images may only be used for private purposes and not public display. If you wish to use a professional camera, please contact us at admin@mtisarodeo.com.au to apply for accreditation.



Drones and remotely piloted aircraft are strictly prohibited.



Patrons consent to be included in film and sound recordings of the event and for these recordings to be used by the event organiser for future promotion of the event.



Tickets purchased online are to be redeemed at the event for wristband to gain entry and re-entry. Wristband must be worn for the relevant event ticket type duration. Broken wrist bands will not be honoured. Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way or are not purchased through the authorised point of sale.



It is a condition of entry that you submit to a search of person or possessions on entry to the venue if Security or Queensland Police decide to take such action.



Mount Isa Pro Rodeo Ltd want everyone to enjoy this event safely. Please understand that Mount Isa Pro Rodeo Ltd can’t take responsibility for the actions of outside service providers, or for any injury, loss, delay, or extra costs that may happen during or around the event. If the law requires certain guarantees, they will apply, but if something goes wrong our responsibility is limited to either re-providing the service or covering the cost of having it provided again. Mount Isa Pro Rodeo Ltd are also not responsible for indirect or special damages.



You acknowledge that neither the event organisers nor the venue will be responsible for any loss or damage to the property (including personal property such as bags, money or other personal items) brought to or purchased at the event.



You must ensure that you act in an orderly manner when attending the event. Mount Isa Pro Rodeo Ltd may refuse entry or evict you if behaving in a disorderly, offensive or inappropriate manner. There will be no refund on any unused portion of tickets if you are asked or forced to leave or if you decide not to attend any part of the event.



As part of your booking, Mount Isa Pro Rodeo Ltd will need to collect your name, postcode, and email address. This information is necessary to process your booking and provide you with the best possible service. You also consent to receive promotional and marketing material pertaining to the Mount Isa Rodeo.



Children must be always accompanied and supervised by an adult whilst attending the event.



Force Majeure: If the event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the organiser’s control (e.g., act of God, extreme Mount Isa Pro Rodeo Ltdather), refunds are at the organiser's discretion.



Bicycles, E-bikes, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades/skates, musical instruments, amplification equipment, stepladders, signs, banners, or other items that could obstruct view or cause safety hazards are prohibited.



Firearms, explosive devices, or any items that could be used as weapons are strictly prohibited.



You must not interfere with the enjoyment, comfort, or safety of other attendees.



Smoking and Vaping is only permitted in Designated Outdoor Smoking Areas.



Campfires are not permitted.

  • Isa Rodeo Weekend – Camping Rules & Conditions

    

    By entering and camping at Buchanan Park, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

    These conditions apply to all campers, visitors, vehicles, and equipment.

    

    Management Authority

    Management may, at its sole discretion, refuse entry, revoke access, or evict any person without notice or reason.

    Management may allocate or reallocate campsites at any time.

    Directions from Management or authorised staff must be followed immediately.

    

    Camping Duration & Check-In

    Camping is permitted for a maximum of 5 nights during the event.

    5-night stays may check in after 10:00am, Wednesday 5th August 2026

    3-night stays may check in after 10:00am, Friday 7th August 2026

    All stays end at 10:00am, Monday 10 th August 2026. You will not be permitted to stay after this time and must leave the premises.

    

    Liability

    Management accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, damage, injury, or destruction of any caravan, vehicle, equipment, personal property, pets, animals or person while on site.

    All property is brought onto the site at the owner’s risk.

    

    Payment

    All camping fees must be paid in full and in advance.

    Camping Marshals cannot accept payments at check-in, unless it is for additional patrons (charged on a per person basis).

    

    Noise & Behaviour

    No noise (including generators, music, loud conversation) is permitted after 11:00pm AEST in any camping area.

    Breaches of noise restrictions may result in eviction.

    Offensive behaviour, illegal drug use, abusive language, and excessive alcohol consumption will not be

    tolerated and may result in removal without refund.

    

    Children & Pets

    Parents/guardians are fully responsible for the behaviour, safety, and supervision of their children.

    Damages caused by children are the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

    Dogs are permitted but must always be on a lead, except for approved assistance animals. You must clean up & pick up your dogs poo.

    Dogs are NOT permitted in the Events Complex & must remain in the camping area only (ie. They are NOT permitted to go to the rodeo, rodeo grandstand, sideshow alley and market/trade area)

    

    Fire Safety

    No open fires are permitted anywhere on the grounds.

    Fireworks, flares, and explosive materials are strictly prohibited.

    

    Equipment & Site Use

    Sites must be kept clean; rubbish must be placed in bins provided.

    Star pickets may not be used.

    Only low-noise generators may be operated and must comply with noise curfew.

    No structures may be built onsite other than approved camping equipment.

    

    Vehicles, Mobility Devices & Machinery

    Queensland road rules and licensing requirements apply to all vehicle users.

    No hooning, speeding, burnouts, or unsafe driving. Speed limits must be observed at all times.

    Quad bikes may only be operated by authorised rodeo personnel.

    Personal mobility devices must comply with Queensland Government regulations (age limits, helmet use, no doubling, etc.).

    

    Drones & Restricted Items

    Drones or remote-controlled devices are prohibited unless expressly approved by Management.

    

    The following items are prohibited and will be confiscated without return:

    

    Firearms, ammunition, weapons, knives, axes, chainsaws

    Illicit substances

    Fireworks, flares, explosives

    Unregistered vehicles

    Pools of any kind

    Paint/spray paint

    Nitrous oxide bulbs or canisters

    Beer funnels, or smoking paraphernalia

    Anti-social or dangerous items

    

    Compliance

    Failure to comply with these conditions may result in eviction, cancellation of camping rights, confiscation of prohibited items, and/or referral to authorities. No refunds will be provided.
